Apple confirms some 2019 13-inch MacBook Pro laptops
Apple again acknowledged the problem with its MacBook Pro 13 ”
Apple recently released a new tech support document that describes troubleshooting steps for users who encounter the unexpected disconnection of the 2019 MacBook Pro 13 ”with a touchpad and two Thunderbolt 3 ports, which was introduced in July. The bottom line is that the MacBook “randomly shuts off when it still has a charge.”
The document outlines a procedure that may help solve this problem. It is proposed to discharge the device to a level below 90%, then connect the power adapter, close all open applications and close the lid, putting the Mac into sleep mode. In this form, leave at least 8 hours on a charge, and then upgrade to the latest version of macOS. If the problem persists, Apple suggests contacting the company store for a more thorough check.
